I spent a month living out of a tent, road-tripping around the South Island of New Zealand in a car older than myself. Ethan called his 2000 Mercedes "Big Bertha", for the sheer size of the truck, and how much gas she liked to guzzle. We think she was jealous of my arrival, as she started breaking down immediately after I touched down. New Zealand is by far the most photogenic place I've ever been to - with the ability to drive from the desert to the beach, to the mountains in a day.
